We had an early breakfast at 6 AM. We left the hotel and got on board a trolley for a field trip. From the trolley, we took a 15 minute boat ride to a large passenger submarine, which was about a mile off the Waikiki shore. We got on board. They closed the hatch, the submarine submerged and it went down to about 100 feet. We were able to look out big windows at fish and some artificial reefs that hjad been placed to attract fish. After about 45 minutes we surfaced and transferred back to the boat to go ashore. On the way back we were able to take some photos of the Waikiki shore line. A bus was waiting for us to take us to the Bishop Museum. A docent showed us around for a little bit. Then we had free time to explore the museum on our own. We also had a box lunch there. Perhaps the most interesting thing at the museum was a Hawaiian man and who did a very dramatic presentation of Hawaiian myths. After we left the museum, we stopped at Snorkel Bob's to pick up snorkel equipment for people who did not have any. Back at the hotel we went to the hotel pool and everyone practiced with their snorkel gear. After dinner at the hotel's Café. We had free time. We again walked along the beach and watched the surfers and again the sunset over the ocean.
